NOTICE OF AGM 2021

The LIPS AGM will be Monday 29 November 2021 at 6pm at the Port Douglas Yacht Club.

To vote at the AGM, or to hold a position, your membership for 2021-22 must be up-to-date.

We are calling for nominations for the positions of :

President,

Vice-President,

Secretary,

Treasurer,

and Committee members.

● The President role entails: chairing meetings, giving a President's report at year's end, being a guiding hand in Society decisions, and representing LIPS views when liaising with other stakeholders.

● The Vice-President the role entails: performing the President duties if the President is unavailable.

● The Secretary role entails: email correspondence weekly, preparation of agendas and minutes, annual reports for our Qld Water & Land Council Insurance and Charitable Status

● The Treasurer role entails: payments including to the Office of Fair Trading, presentation of financial status at meetings, preparation of financials for yearly auditing

● Committee Roles: Social media coordinator, Memberships coordinator, others as appropriate.

The current President, Vice-President, and Secretary will not be standing again.
